Our Story
Humboldt Soup’s On! was founded in November of 2023 with the mission to deliver a hot, nutritious meal every day to our unhoused neighbors in Arcata, California.
We are a group comprised entirely of hard-working volunteers who share the vision of Humboldt Soup's On! and want to make a difference.
Vision
We are committed to changing the way people see the unhoused—through compassion, not judgment. By meeting people where they are, regardless of their circumstances, we serve with dignity and respect.
We recognize that our neighbors’ needs extend beyond their own, which is why we also provide food for their beloved dogs.
We welcome anyone who shares this vision to join us in building a more caring and connected community.
